Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.[John 3:5]

Baptism information

The Armenian Apostolic Church incorporates the sacraments of Baptism, Chrismation, and Holy Communion into one ceremony, which is administered at the time of Baptism.

The Baptism ritual can be conducted through two methods:

  1. First, by consecrating water with the holy chrism, making the sign of the cross, and immersing the infant’s body into the water three times;
  2. Second, by pouring holy water thrice on the head of the adult being baptized, and washing their face and senses.
